The lipstick doesn’t make you look sallow or too red (too cool / too warm). If you can only see the lipstick, it’s too bright. When you look at yourself in the mirror, you can still see your eyes and not just the lipstick. The lipstick doesn’t look significantly lighter or darker than the rest of your face (too light / too dark). So, even if you would never wear a particular lipstick, the test can still tell you whether you can pull it or not. Even a bright fuchsia lipstick can look natural in the right season, because it matches the natural brightness and temperature of the natural coloring of that person. Keep in mind that whether you like the lipstick color or not, the color analysis test goal is to evaluate if you can wear a color successfully, if it looks like it fits with your face. You can go to a MAC counter and let them put the lipstick on you, or you can use EBay if you just want a new lipstick and confirming your season. They have a super shiny gold finish and the bottom is clear so you can see the actual shade inside. The Lipliners don’t have a smell or taste.Īs far as packaging these feel and look nice. The one thing you may not like is the smell/taste of the lipsticks if you are sensitive to that kind of thing. The Lipliners are great also because they are really universal shades that will go with tons of lipstick shades. They feel moisturizing and very comfortable on my lips. Overall: I really like the texture of these and the saturation is really good. True Red is a bright red and works with all these red shades here. Nude is a pink/brown shade, great for a wide variety of lipstick shades. One thing to note about these lipsticks is they have a certain smell and taste…melon! Kind of strange but it’s not that strong, and does go away after a bit. The metallic and pearl shades are the most different from the rest in terms of finish. I really love the cream and vinyl ones the best, but the matte is nice also, not too drying. Some of the reds are very similar to each other in color, but differ in finish. They are very saturated and intense shades. High Voltage is a shiny bright red vinyl.
